About Annie Richardson

Annie Richardson is a dedicated professional who loves children and families. She believes that children’s needs precede parental/relationship conflicts. Her years of personal experience working with her own family and clinical families have awarded her a rich resource for helping clinical parents (with children) experiencing conflicts in parenting, marriage, relationships, and divorce.

Mrs. Richardson’s educational career earned her a Bachelor Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University, Garden City, NY; Master of Social Work Degree, Syracuse University, Syracuse, NY; and Master of Education (Counseling) from New York State University, Brockport, NY.

Her extensive background of experience expanded over 30 years in a variety of settings; Breakthrough Counseling Education Center, Co-Parenting courses, Winter Park, FL; Coordinator, National Parkinson Program, Florida Hospital, Orlando and Altamonte, Springs, FL; OCPS School Social Worker, Winter Garden, FL; Foster Care Case Manager, Monroe Co. Department of Social Services, Rochester, NY; School Social Work Specialist, New York City Board of Education, Brooklyn, NY; Therapeutic Foster Care Instructor for Parents, Washington Co. Department of Social Services, Hagerstown, MD.

Mrs. Richardson is truly a motivated professional that demonstrates excellence in leadership, care, and service to others. Her passion for children influenced her to develop the Guidance Awareness Program (GAP), a self-esteem program to teach and empower social skills in young elementary school-age children.
